Dirk Ivens / Eric van Wonterghem
Sonar started with the aim to create rhythmical noise and dark soundscapes.
The music is created with a combination of analogue and digital instruments.
The rhythms remind to working machines, the soundscapes to droning planes.
The sound of Sonar is made to make you move in another way, to tune you into
a hypnotic beat. It is a straightforward sound which goes further on classic
industrial but never without an extra dimension of powerful dynamics and
tuned electronics. Sonar is looking for a contemporary definition of
danceable industrial and tries to discover this by controlling electronic
devices.

Brighter Death Now:





















Brighter Death Now is the artist name under which Roger Karmanik,
the founder of the Swedish record label Cold Meat Industry, releases
Death Industrial, Power electronics and Dark ambient music.

Whereas early Brighter Death Now recordings tended to be largely
instrumental and atmospherically oriented, present-day releases
often feature screamed vocals, distorted beyond comprehension.
Throughout its history, Karmanik has kept his music's thematic
elements focused on such topics as child molestation, sadism,
and psychosis.

The Great Death trilogy and May All Be Dead have become a rare
collectors items, and are sought after by many Brighter Death Now fans.
Roger Karmanik has been active under other names such as Lille Roger and
Bomb The Daynursery.

Detune-X: (present NEW ALBUM)

DETUNE-X begins as a solo side project of Stefano Rossello (:BAHNTIER//)
and releases in the 2004 the first album "burnow!" on Rustblade.
At the end of July 2007 DETUNE-X will release the new album "PUREVIL"
but this is not the only news: change happened and at nowdays DETUNE-X
become a duo project made by Stefano Rossello and Eric Van Wonterghem
(SONAR, MONOLITH, INSEKT). first concert in Germany!!!

Proyecto Mirage:















Proyecto Mirage was founded 1990. Our first influences were the clasic
electro-pop bands of that time. We had already tried various times to form
a band with more members but it did not work out.
We have always been attracted to electronic music in general (both pop and
industrial) and we have always been fans of groups such as
Esplendor Geometrico, Whitehouse, SPK. We also into EBM, electro, ritual, etc...
Proyecto Mirage´s sound could be labeled as Hard Electronic Industrial with a
lot of Drum´N´bass, Techno, Electro and Rock influences, with an experimental
touch and, when it comes to live performances, hard-floor orientated.

Mezire: (present NEW ALBUM!!!!)













We formed MEZIRE in 1995 as a Dark Electro Band. During the first years,
we published several albums in this style ("Promo 1996", Hardware", "
Collector", "Induction"). Through the years, we evolved our sound more and
more to Industrial. These new influences become apparent on "95 - 99", a
kind of Best Of. With our last album, "Reanimate", released in 2004, we
achieved a perfect symbiosis between Power Electronics/Industrial and
Dark Electro. This evolution will become even more extreme with the release
of "Corrosion Effects"...

Sandblasting (present NEW ALBUM!!!! "Adrenaline")

Why Adrenaline? Adrenaline is a hormone present in the adrenal glands and
constitutes the chemical mediator of nervous impulses. Adrenaline can be
obtained through extract in adrenal caps and also in a SYNTHETIC way...through
the manipulation of the wave shape of analogic synthesizers and the use of
samplers and effects. The rust layer that covers the brains of the entire
human race has built up to a thickness that renders a single treatment of
sandblasting useless in order to turn on the functions of this vital organ.
SANdBLASTING, with this new album, has tried to add to the previous
sandblasting treatments a creation of one aural mixture to act as adrenalin,
in order to bring back the brain functions of the human race. Adrenalin,
in fact, stimulates cardiac operation...creating an increase in the
frequency of heartbeats and an increase in cardiac pressure.
SANdBLASTING is a complete treatment of 74 minutes composed
of rhythmic noise, industrial, breakcore, power electronic sounds and the
use of audio samples purposely selected from various films and video games
to create an atmosphere distressing and psychologically chilling.
The new release of SANdBLASTING touches on the hard and violently impacting
sounds of WINTERKALTE, TEST DEPT, MERZBOW and HYPNOSKULL.A treatment of
SANdBLASTING is the equivalent of an adrenalin discharge.

Empusae:













If you imagine a melody that sounds like an escape of a madman from the
asylum or vibrating momentum and a journey through unusual , magical
soundscapes or a meditation then you may have an idea what Empusae's music
is like. Eclectic, a bit ephemeral and very dynamic; the music that appeals
to mind , pacifies and yet stimulates by the power of electronics and
industrial. Great project, quaint music - indeed, Sal-Ocin knows how to
steer sounds to achieve extraordinary effect. Beside Empusae, Sal-Ocin is
involved in other projects like This %orn' Omina, Tzolk'in and Project
Arctic. He's also a live memebr of Ah Cama-Sotz and IC434.

Adam-X (present NEW Album!!!!)

In his DJ performances and track production, Adam X's sound is best described
as hard, EBM and industrial inspired dance-floor techno and electro. Adam X penetrates, educates and infuses his audience with a real energy, often drawing from dark and sexual themes, through the mastery of the electronic music medium he has gained from a prolific career.
Adam got started in NYC in the early '90s -an era of a burgeoning grass-roots music and club culture, which he himself had contributed to. Following teenage years of aerosol art, underground club music and electronic
creativity in the late 80s, Adam X and his brother Frankie Bones found their way to techno, a new and emerging genre. It was in April 1990 that Adam and Frankie founded the Sonic Groove label and retail outlet for electronic dance music, which has since served as a vehicle for publishing music and has been a staple for DJs globally
and especially on the East Coast.
Sometime around the year 2000, Adam was finding himself bored of the music coming out and critical of the direction that techno music was taking. Always anxious to discover sounds he's never heard before, Adam truly realised what he'd been in search of through an ironic twist of fate that was perfectly timed: a style of music
from a totally different music scene than he was used to that perfectly suited his personality and frame of mind -EBM, Powernoise and Industrial. From that point on, Adam's mission is about bridging the gap between
Industrial and Techno and crossing the boundaries between these two parallel scenes of music.

Hybryds: (present NEW Album "dreambient")

INTRODUCTION : HYBRYDS : since the mid 80 -ties working in the ritual - mythical -industrial and magical music scene. This band is known for its mind expanding sound. Primitive ethnical and contemporary industrial influences are blended to create an unique style that has influenced many who were looking for spiritual dimensions. In the beginning of the 80 -ties, Magthea, the male side of the HYBRYDS was involved in THE KLINIK, in the mid 80 - ties he worked on his own personnel music style. At the start of the 90 -ties Yasnaïa joined the HYBRYDS concept adding her clear vocals and acoustic instruments.Working together with Djen Ajakan S and Vidna Obmana resulted in the first of many CD releases: ”The ritual should be kept alive part 1 “(3RIOART-1991). An ethnic styled trance piece.Suddenly the music scene discovered the original, eclectic and powerful HYBRYDS sound.

is an interdisciplinary project between greta christensen [aka vinyl horror] (dk) and dr. nexus (de) with focus on sound and installation:
presented in a complex system of hundreds of meters of wires connecting inventions and modified hi-fi equipment. turntables,
rythm-mashines, radios, effects:
feedbacking, looping, playing forwards, backwards, side ways, up-side down:
mixed into a dark and atmosferic sound experience.

meine musik ist frei improvisiert. ich benutze um sie zu machen zwei selbstgebaute instrumente, den stahlkontrabass der auch ein cello ist und den licht/schattensythesizer, "LUCY".
ich experimentiere mit einem rotierenden lautsprecher.
die signale von beiden instrumenten verarbeitete ich life mit der opensource software "puredata".
improvisation ist in klang material und software.
bisweilen untersuche ich die gesaenge der buckelwale die manchmal nicht mehr viel zu lachen haben. wie im realen leben...
ein friedliche athmosphaere kann sich ploetzlich in die eines kriegschauplatzes wandeln. umgekehrt kann etwas wildes brachiales auch wenden in eine feine bizarre stimmung. surreale streicherensemble aus echoschleifen mutieren zu krachenden rythmussalven.
so wie sich die musik ausserhalb der ordnung oder auf der suche nach eigener ordnung bewegt fuehle ich mich nicht an grenzen der geschlechterrollen gebunden und experimentiere mit diesen identitaeten.
